Tata gives Rs 1500 crore in battle against Corona

Tata Sons and Tata Trusts have jointly proclaimed support of Rs 1500 crore in a campaign to tackle the situation arising out of Corona virus infection. The money will be used to support medical workers and medical safety equipment for those affected by the corona virus, the purchase of kits for screening and the establishment of treatment facilities.

In a statement issued in this regard, Ratan Tata has said, Tata Trust and Tata group companies have always come to the country in times of need. But this crisis of Corona is bigger than all previous crises. I believe that this is one of the toughest challenges in the history of the human species in this exceptionally difficult period.

Tata Trusts, as per the pledge of protection for all affected communities, to provide protective equipment to patients, purchase of respiratory systems and test kits for patients, establishment of modular treatment facilities for infected patients and for the management and training of health workers and victims for Rs 500 crore. Announces contribution.

Ratan Tata said that the companies of Tata Trust, Tata Sons and Tata Group, along with their dedicated indigenous-foreign partners and governments, will jointly fight the public health war against Corona and try to reach all the disadvantaged and weaker sections of the society.

Along with this, he has also expressed his gratitude to the individuals and organizations who have risked their lives in the fight against Corona. At the same time, Tata Sons chairman N. Chandrashekhar announced Rs 1000 crore help saying that will be done in collaboration with Tata Trusts.
