GMR begins airport construction in Greece
GMR Airports, a unit of infrastructure company GMR Infrastructure, has started construction of an airport in the city of Crete, Greece.
The company said that the Prime Minister of Greece Cayriakos Misota laid the foundation stone of the airport. The joint venture of GMR and Greece-based GEK Terna has been responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the airport for 35 years.
