1.91 lakh CCTV cameras will prevent duplication
1.91 lakh CCTV cameras will be installed this time to check the cheating in UP Board Examination 2020. All these cameras will be equipped with voice recorders.
Through them, monitoring will be done from the state level control room located in Directorate of Secondary Education, Lucknow. From this control room, webcasting can be seen live through webcasting as soon as you press the number of any examination center in any district.
According to Bhagwati Singh, in-charge of the control room, this arrangement has been made for the first time in the UP board examination. The state government claims that for the first time such a system has been made to make the exam unscrupulous.
It is also set to be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. The responsibility of arranging CCTV cameras has been placed at the examination centers. The UP board examinations are starting from February 18, for which 7784 examination centers have been set up in 75 districts.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma says that for the first time the entire examination is being monitored from one place. The government has not spent a single rupee on this system. At the same time, 25 to 30 CCTV cameras have been installed at each examination center.
These cameras are installed in the main entrance of examination center, examination halls, gallery and center superintendent room. Around 937 thousand examination halls have been set up at 7784 examination centers in 75 districts. A total of 1 lakh 91 thousand CCTV cameras will be monitored at all examination centers.
