Producer James Cameron's decision to make the Terminator Dark Fate directly by picking up the story of the second film of the Terminator series, how much did you like it on first listen?

The credit for creating Terminator Dark Fate goes to Jim (James Cameron). He brought the idea of this film to me and he asked me if I am eager to do it. So I said that whenever we have a good idea, it is good to work on it. So Jim said that he has not only the idea of the return of Terminator, but also the idea of bringing the character of Linda Hamilton to the film. I was very excited to hear this. We made many Terminator movies without Jim, but with both Jim and Linda coming back in Terminator Dark Fate, it is very special in that sense.

- The film Terminator would like to tell about any scene of Dark Fate, which might not have been possible to do before, but with the help of technology, its team managed to create it in this film?

There is a scene in the movie Terminator Dark Fate, in which he is falling from the sky towards the earth after a ship is set on fire, and he has a fierce fight with the film's villain. The gravitational potential in this scene is zero, ie. The characters are floating in the air and fighting among themselves. Filming such scenes in Zero Gravity was probably not possible before. This time also it was not easy. It took us three to four weeks to complete this scene. It was very difficult to do all this, many times we had to stop shooting, because our natural reactions started going astray. So where the actor's hard work falls, there are special effects to help.

- Your character in every Terminator film seems like it will not return now, will the Terminator do the same with Dark Fate or is it ready to make a sequel too?

Yes, you are right. Every Terminator happens to my character in the film. In the first Terminator, Sarah Connor machine-crushes my character. Then in the second terminator, I dissolve into the melting lava. What is happening this time, the audience will know by watching the film. If audiences around the world liked this film and if James Cameron would like it, then we will definitely make a sequel to it as well.

- The first two films of the Terminator series have made box office records. The story of Terminator Dark Fate starts from the same two films. Are you sure you prefer box office figures?

I do not expect any of my films. Like, at the time of elections, you do not know what the result will be. In the same way movies are, you have no idea what the result will be. But I can definitely tell you that we have done all the test screenings of Terminator Dark Fate all over America and the response of the people in them was tremendous.

- In the making of any hero. The strength of his anti-villain matters a lot. What would you say about Villain Rev 9 of Terminator Dark Fate?

The protagonist of the Terminator film, T800, is a fierce character that does not stand in front of him. The challenge in a film with such a hero is that how can we create another machine like this which can be a challenge for it. Through visual effects, we have created some new features for the film's villain. The role of Rev 9 in the film is played by Grabiel Luna. He has played his character very brilliantly.

* You have been working in cinema for almost four decades. How much difference has it made in today's action films?

From the perspective of working, everything is the same. An actor still has to come to the set with complete preparation. The change that has taken place in the role of a machine on screen from 1984 to 2019 is that now you can entertain the audience in a better way. In this, the development in the technology of special effetx has helped a lot. What we cannot do by shooting, we can do that with special effects.
