Google update Out of office feature in Gmail

Google is bringing a unique feature for its Gmail users. Under this new feature, if a Gmail user is on leave, then other users who contact him through Gmail or Hangout Chat will get an alert in the form of a notification that he is on leave.

The feature will be rolled out globally on 16 September. Currently, it will be released only for G-Suite or Google Enterprise customers. After some time, it can also be released for the common users of Gmail.

Gagal has given information on his blogpost that after the launch of this feature, now the sender (user sending email) will get the message of the receiver being out of office even before clicking the email button. To turn it on, you have to mark yourself out of office in Google Calendar. After this, users will be able to avoid unwanted emails and chats.

At the same time, from the perspective of the sender of a message, it is also useful for him, because it will give him information that he is sending an email to someone at the wrong time. In simple language, this feature of Google is a sign of Do Not Disturb.
